KEENERS GET HIGH

Besides graduating great paddlers and great teens, another Keener goal is job training. Keeners are trained to progress to Senior Keeners, Keener Instructors and river staff. Keeners have the opportunity to become SRT qualified (Swift Water Rescue Technicians) which has become an international requirement for the paddlesports industry.
Keeners spent evenings learning ropes, knots, anchors, haul systems etc. When training was over they got to put it into practice by rappelling 150’ off our bungee tower. Way to go Keeners!
